At UVM Constructions we are fully qualified and experienced carpenters who have the capacity to complete both indoor and outdoor tasks ranging from renovations and extensions through to, decking pergolas and carports alongside a whole array of carpentry tasks.
OUR WARRANTY
UVM Constructions warrants carpentry built by us against defects in materials and workmanship when used normally for a period of 3 years from the first date of carpentry installation.
Our warranty for carpentry works does not cover claims arising from third party alteration or addition, negligent use or normal wear and tear. For service requests not covered by warranty, UVM Constructions reserves the discretion to undertake such a service or request for a fee for the service. Materials, parts and accessories used in our carpentry may have its own manufacturer and supplier warranty.

UVM Constructions is a Brisbane based business located in Karana Downs in Brisbane’s western suburbs. We service all of Brisbane but we particularly love working in our local area of Karana Downs and surrounding suburbs.
Most projects require a deposit of 30-50%, larger projects will require progress payments. We specify this when we quote so you know exactly what to expect.
We are committed to completing top quality work and really want to see our clients happy and loving their new lifestyle thanks to the home improvements we can achieve. The bottom line for us is to enjoy the work and remain passionate and committed to delivering quality work to be proud of.

Yes! We have Public Liability Insurance for your peace of mind as well as covering our employees and sub-contractors where applicable.
TIMBER DECK BUILDER
Extending your outdoor space is easy with a timber deck and sloped sites are no problem. We can build your deck almost anywhere to deliver privacy, elevated views, extra space and include hand rails, stairs and ramps for safety as required. Outdoor BBQ areas with a deck build are a perfect example. Decks don’t have to be attached to house. Choose a covered deck with a roof or free-standing option. We build Ironbark timber decks, Merbau decks, Spotted Gum and Blackbutt with standard and wideboard decking timber. In certain situations we will also suggest composite decking as an option.
PATIO BUILDER
Patios are a bit like extended outdoor living areas and are an extension of your house. For example you can walk out the backdoor into an enclosed or flyover outdoor space complete with deck roof, fans, lights all the jazz. Patios are attached to the home and are actual extensions (not like a verandah which is often enclosed). Similar to pergolas, we can do timber insulated panels, steel exposed roofing or custom lining for the ceiling. Decks can be added if you don’t have tiles – timber, composite, raised, on ground – all options.
POOL DECK BUILDER
We’ve completed some stunning timber pool decks and compliant pool fencing over the years and these jobs are some of our absolute favourite. Consider extending your outdoor space with a timber deck and entertaining area that integrates seamlessly with your home. If your deck is covered there is the option for composite decking too.
CARPORT BUILDER
As well as adding value to your home, carports are an ideal solution when you need to protect your cars, trailers, boats, and caravans from our stormy Queensland weather. Great for keeping your mechanical items under cover and storing toys etc out of the weather.
GAZEBO / PERGOLA BUILDER
Your local pergola builder. Pergolas and gazebos can include insulated roofs. made from timber or steel, these are similar to a patio but not attached to your house. Open style pergolas make excellent pool pavillions.
STAIRS AND BALUSTRADES
Stairs and handrails in timber to match your deck. Corner stairs, straight sets, star treads, stringers and balustrades – instal or replacement no problem. We can inspect to see if your current stairs are safe and quote on repairs or replacement to match existing.
